Many faces filled the caravan, it was long and almost hundred riders protected it on their way to new home and new life. Among them was a simple herbalist and healer, called in rohirric as haelende.

To New Harsh Winds

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story
With the sun gone below a ridge of barren hills, the darkness was quickly retaking the ground. Up on the faint horizon, at the end of the troop rode a mid-aged warrior, grimly determined, his face obscured by his plumed helmet.

Leaving the wooden gates of Harwick behind, the Rider came up to the Mead hall -- a magnificent wood and stone structure. And the high-arched doors flew open as the Rider stepped inside the great hall that glowed with torches, both inside and out.

Stangard, the first outpost before crossing the river and arriving to the Wold. The place was almost empty, the news are the Thanes are reinforcing their towns. As the King has forbidden to launch attacks against orcs everyone is thinking in their own defense. The rumour is that there is a King's advisor giving the orders... who is this man and why does nobody stop him?

Tomorrow we will arrive to Harwick, and we will see if all this journey was for nothing. Tomorrow...we face the Third Marshall and hopefully, we become Riders of the Mark.

Diary

As I wander around Stangard, I wonder at the state of affairs here.  It would seem that the steward to Theoden King is a petty man, one not taken to a kind thought or care of any but himself and his own self interests.  I've done what I can for the people here, and only hope that it is enough.

The Return - Part I

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

I do not know why I delayed so much to return to Grimslade. It has been years since I returned to the lands of my people and yet I decided to remain in the Limlight Gorge as a volunteer. Perhaps I sought redemption or maybe I wanted to make a name for myself as a hero of my people, for too many a year I fought in foreign lands. But I had to return. If not to prove myself deserving and grown, then to fulfill the promise I made my faithful steed that I would bring him back to his homeland.

Red journal entry # 5 - Locked up abroad

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

I didn't expect a warm welcome, but to sit behind bars is just preposterous! Why!? They called us friends of the witch, the witch of the elf-kind. I was being dragged through their cursed forest against my will, blindfolded and even gagged as they couldn't stand my grumbling. It was humiliating to surrender myself to their kind. We should have taken the river and go around that forest. Either way the men of Rohan, who I thought were my kin, locked us up for it.
