Laiquendi Order

Tenth Relief - Rescue

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The Boat swayed serenely, making me feel slightly sick as I lay on the decks of the ship, restlessly fidgeting, watching the Dourhands warily, who were playing a game with Rune-rocks, or either drinking some beer. I retched in disgust as I grimaced over the foul stench and the dirty habits of the Dourhands. Luckily no one noticed what I was feeling - or that is to say, noticed me.

Ninth Conclusion - Captivity

Story

As I was marched off to the Boat, I thought of how I got myself into this mess in the first place.

Oh yes, it had started off when I had spotted an unusually large number of goblins heading for Kheledul. In a nick of time, I decided to follow, and got myself captured in the process.

And escaped.

I always knew they would come for me, send me off somewhere before executing me, but if I could at least play the bait and delay their actions, it could at least give the elves some time to prepare before the invasion would be launched.

Eight Worry - Aloof

Story

As I surveyed the whole neighborhood, walking down the cliff with a company of Hobbits to escort, and following other Elves, I lost myself in thought, wondering why I was feeling so empty these days.

I barely noticed myself nearly walking towards the Cliffend, and why I nearly fell off. I gasped and swayed, regaining my balance just enough to make it look like I was peering down onto the house below me.

Seventh Responsibility - Discussions

Story

Meetings held are always of serious concern - at least, that is which I find out during a discussion of the Shadow Hunters' attempts to trace down the Nine.

After a calm play of music, laughter, and talking, I retreated with Tanes and another of the Laiquendi Order into a corner of the Hall of Fire; There, we discussed the course of the Nine and the mysterious disturbances on Weathertop. We had ponderings, arguments, and chats, but everything came into one piece as we transcended further into our Topic - Mithrandir, the Grey Pilgrim, had been involved in this hunt.

Meeting the Eldariant

Story

Any good Hobbit banquet is long. The music, dancing but mainly the eating carried on throughout the night, the Hobbits eating continuously except for pauses to refill their plates or glasses. The Elvish guests could find nothing to complain about - the Hobbit food was delicious and varied. There were pies of all sorts (though the Hobbits were eager to offer biscuits to the Elves, perhaps guessing that the rich food was not always to their palate), delicious fresh spring vegetables and even the last of the fruit stored over the winter.

Sixth Discovery - Riding into the Mountains.

Hall of Fire was as usualy, but joyful like they were most of the time, but this time Mirineth had an urgent mission for us (Most of the Vanimarians): One of Elrond's scouts were reported to be missing and is being held captive at The Bitter Stair; the name made me feel uneasy. I had heard from my father that it was once a grand dwarved home, but now it is said to be cursed with fell beings and Hillmen.

Second Thoughts - Joining the Laiquendi Order

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Ah, the joyous feeling I had when I join the Order of the Laiquendi. Earlier today I had been contacted by a Caun regarding the letter I had sent to her days ago. She accepted me graciously, and now, I find myself in the middle of a happy family that I can call home for the decades to come.

It had seemed ages since I, Daerundros, proclaimed my goal of finding a home. I had never felt so happy once I was integrated into the order, and I have been trying my best to serve the order and fulfill my promises.
