Today I had come with my companion Pengon, a kinmember of mine, to the harbour or Celondim, intent on discussing some things. My active nature got a hold of me as we walked around the refuge, talking idly over matters.

Culir! I know not what to make of him as yet, for my mentor in the arts of scouting can be as ethereal of nature as any mist. Yet even after the short time I have known him, I perceive he will be one in whom I can trust my deepest thoughts. Wise in the ways of the wild is he – and contemplative of such. Aye – much can I learn from this ‘invisible’ ellon I warrant.
 
Now this is what transpired with my recent training for my role as Pethroval in the Grey Watch – and what led to my latest path.

Waking up under the trees of Nen Hilith, with nothing but the sounds of nature to greet me was a nice change, one that I could get used to. Forty years spent over the Misty Mountains, in Mirkwood and beyond and almost nothing has changed. Perhaps I have not changed either. I can almost smell the sea...so close...
