Apples'n Picnics

I went along a winding way
On such a splendid summer day
I had a basket on my arm
with pies and puddings, cold and warm
At last I came to a perfect spot
the grass was green, the sun was hot
But best of all the things to see
was a wonderful old apple tree
Those apples were so good to eat
 so crisp and tender, rich and sweet
I wont forget that apple tree
and hope it fondly thinks of me!

The Great Adventure

There once was a hobbit lad and his lass
With a too la roo la ree!
As they sat in their shop and looked out through the glass
they decided to go to Bree

Along the road they met an old man
with a too la roo la ray!
His beard was long and his face had a tan
and he stopped them both to say

"Where is it you're headed, you reckless two?
With a too la roo la tell!
