I decided I'd had enough of being stuck indoors. Stick or no stick, I was going for a damn ride! So, up on Steel I clambered and into Bree I went.
It's quieter than I recall, but no less drab.
Dernwynn was there. A joy to converse with, as ever! It doesn't hurt that she's easy on the eyes too. Although my tastes run more to men, beauty should be appreciated in any and all forms. I do look forward to seeing her again, though I wonder if I will. From what she said, she may be leaving soon. A pity.
She had a friend with her. Ashbark. Oh, Ashbark! A most entertaining little lass. Another creature of beauty, if of a more dour kind. I swear her face would fall off if she ever smiled! I shall endeavour to test this theory. In the meantime, showering her with meaningless flirtation and random compliments provides an unending source of amusement.
Clearly I need to get out of the house more. I shall let Steel pick the destination next time. The poor thing could do with some freedom too.
