Chronicle Summary
Is there a life in the dance floor?
Chronicle Content
It is say that dance has it's roots in popular tradition and the beliefs of society in certain period of time. One way of having information about this is becouse some people own paintings or parchments where you can find more about this topic. I thought scholars, in particular the ones that reside in Bree, would and will have researches about this but I was wrong. They seem not to care which is funny becouse they claim to care about knowledge. My question in here is... we humans are a source of knowledge, isn't that true? Maybe another kind of writer cares.
Another way to have information about this is to live it. To experience it. Talking about that... you can dance with many persons at the same time and it is very fun. But even that, the ladies of Bree or other major town, will keep frowning at you and remain with the idea that you are but an indecent woman (which I don't care at all that they think that). Also you can know what is to dance, when you do that with just one partner. I am sad they will never know what means to discover that two bodies form just one when they dance. They won't know what to do when they realize their breath and the dance partner's breath is the same. And if your partner touches your body while dancing... pure joy. It was a delight to dance with him yesterday.
Some of the parchments talk about the Carole. That is when a group of dancers are grabbing themselves by their hands and usually, they for a big circle depending on the amount of dancers, and those dancers use to sing while doing what they are there for: dance. The singing part is totally related with poetry (I wonder if scholars are interested in poetry or not, maybe again they consider that human creations like that, are not as important as to know about the Achillea millefolium, but I will say it is even more important). So, the Carole is an animated dance where everyone doing it, will be spinning and moving themselves following a certain music rythmn.
An authentic delight.
