Veggr is a short and stocky middle aged dwarf of Longbeard clan origins. Veggr stands at approximately five feet tall in height and he weighs a wee bit over sixteen stones in weight. Veggr's body is very hairy and fairly muscular, however he does have a bit of a beer belly. Veggr has rather pale skin, due to his prolonged times indoors working at the forge. Veggr's skin does have scars in various places from his former military days. Veggr has firery red hair, which he keeps elaborately braided, along with his beard. The dwarf has a pair of bright green eyes, which rest between a large nose and underneath a pair of bushy eyebrows. Veggr can be seen walking with a limp in his left leg, due to an injury he obtained in battle, and he also walks somewhat hunched over, due to his years slouching over the forge. Veggr is often seen wearing his heavily stained blacksmithing apron, while he has many weapons attached to his belt, along with his tools. Veggr speaks with a thick Khuzdul accent, which sometimes has caused non-dwarves to struggle to understand what he is saying. (One can imagine the German accent that the American actor Paul Frees used while acting as Burgermeister Meisterburger in the 1970 film Santa Claus is Comin' To Town.) Veggr carries himself in a gruff and cynical manner but he is nonetheless brave, hard-working, and he has a hidden heart of gold, if one digs deep down for it. Veggr is very patriotic to the Iron Hills.
