Ricklin

Rick Woodruff
| Name | Ricklin |
|---|---|
| Status | Active |
| Occupation | Hunter of Trestlebridge |
| Age | Young, around his twenty second year. |
| Race | Man |
|---|---|
| Residence | Trestlebridge |
| Kinship | Townsfolk of Trestlebridge |
| Outward Appearance | Not one that sticks out in a crowd much, Rick has all the common traits for a man of Trestlebridge. His hair is brown and slightly curled at the fringe when grown too long, and he wears a trimmed beard with a nice smile in the middle. His eyes are dark green framed with dark lashes, and the only imperfection on his face is a scar from a blunt weapon on his forehead which he gained during the raid on Trestlebridge.
He has an athletic body with strong arms, indicating a lot of work with a bow. He is quick and agile when wearing his usual garb of loose cloths and leather, with a weather worn green cloak draping down over his shoulders. Sometimes at his hip is a sword hidden away in a simple leather scabbard, yet on him at all times is his hunting knife which he puts to use very often; be it cutting open his bounty or slicing an apple. |

Background
Born to a hunter and a carpenters daughter, he's not had the most exciting childhood being as every other child in Trestlebridge was until he came of age to go hunting on his own and explored the land around Trestlebridge; albeit not too far from town.
Recently, in the raid upon Trestlebridge, the Woodruff home got burned down. Now, all of his family -- including his widowed aunt and cousins -- live in a cramped house just across the road from the prior home; all of their valuables gone in the fire, apart from each other.
His immediate family was a fairly large one, ten of them in total:
Ives Woodruff, 48 years of age. Injured in the raid on Trestlebridge, currently in the healing process. Father of the Woodruff family.
Seline Woodruff, nee Beecher, 46 years of age. Mother of the Woodruff family.
Emma Woodruff, 26 years of age, working over time as a tailor to make more clothes for the people of Trestlebridge after many got destroyed in the fires in peoples homes.
Carl Woodruff, 24 years of age, working under his uncle Supervisor Beecher to keep the bridge in good shape.
Rick Woodruff, 22 years of age, a hunter for the town working extra hard to provide food for the rest of his family, and the town where he can get the extras. He is currently courting with Bietrix Wheeler.
Elsie Woodruff, 19 years of age, skilled with patchwork and repairing clothing and shoes alike, usually found sitting outside the family home working on something.
Bart Woodruff, 16 years of age, learning to build like his brother Carl and occasionally helping his uncle.
Earl Woodruff, 14 years of age, learnt the art of fletching from his brother Rick and now supplies him with arrows, as well as sells those that he can spare.
Maria Woodruff, 11 years of age, helped around the house with her mother and younger brother. She died recently, from malnutrition as well as catching a cold in her weakened state.
Ham Woodruff, 8 years of age, helps around the house with his mother and his sister, Maria.
Also living in the household:
Elanor Woodruff,
| Friends | |
|---|---|
| Relatives | Plenty of Trestlebridge, though he is a Woodruff on his father's side and a Beecher on his mother's side. |
| Rivals/Enemies | The orcs that are threatening the town! The ruffians that are threatening the town! The sellswords that are threatening the town! |
| Loves | The rush of blood when he hunts, the pride after he has hunted! A good pint of ale occasionally, as well as a good bit of venison to go with it. He's also developing a fancy for the new girl in town Bietrix Wheeler. |
|---|---|
| Hates | When he misses a shot and the feeling it leaves behind. Those threatening the town! Burnt down buildings and the ash that it leaves behind. |
| Motivation | To get on with each day as they come; and end up successful at the end of each. |
| Quotes | "Well you must clearly be on my mind a lot, Bietrix Wheeler." |
