He, indeed, is a tall man with a short brown beard and longer brown hair. His shoulders are wide, his legs are long, his chest is hard and yet he is also soft... He has light blue eyes and an obvious cut on his lip from a dark time that he does not wish to remember. His arms are strong, stronger that they might look, but he is also swift. He offten rides on his tall and blonde horse, Tûrlӧch, through fields and forests, banishing beast that do not belong there. So this is all about him, and yet it is hardly anything... Fearless and scared, hard and soft, sad and yet gay! |

Background
Eodarl was born 31 years ago, in a time when evil has not yet come to its power, to two loving parents, Theogard and Arnawyn. Like his father and brothers, he joined the Riders of Rohan and served Eomund, Third Marshall of the Mark. His father was a talented Rider since he was only twenty years old.
One dark night, their farm was attacked by Saruman's forces, Orcs and Dunlendings. The event is very long and bloody, and is described in great detail by his brother Eongor, but the thing that took his breath the most is the death of his father... Beloved father... So there lies Theogard Eothaine, burried somewhere in the lands of his fathers. Nevertheless, he and his brothers, his sister and wounded mother were forced to proceed northwards, away from the shadows of the East.
A second tragedy hit them in the Gap of Rohan where they were split appart and his mother was killed. Eodarl was taken by the Wild Men to their camp, he was now fully in the hands of the Enemy... While tied up, he overheard a message from an Orc-like creature to the chief of the Dunlendings, about taking all prisoners to Isengard, there to cut down trees and build great forges. His head was once again covered and he was forced to walk eastwards. On the second day of their journey, he has suddenly heard loud screams from the orcs around him. He heard hoofs and spear flying through the air. Suddenly, he was pushed by a foul hand and lost his balance. He fell and smashed his back against a rock, he started rolling down a hill and could not stop as his hands were tied up and his head covered. Suddenly, his head smashed into a hard rock and everything went black...
Hours later, the morning sun greeted him with a pleasant ray of sunlight, shining through holes in the cloth covering his head. The sack was ripped and fell off as he turned his head. He was bruized and covered with blue spots. The knott on the rope that tied his wrists was teared by his fall and could now be easily removed. He stood up with a strong headache. He looked around and had no idea where he was...
In the far mist, mountain ranges could be seen and he knew those were the Misty Mountains. And so, Eodarl Eothaine, third son of Theogard, trodded on and on at a slow pace, without hope and faith... His family, dead he thought and all hope withered in his heart. Unfortunenately, he did not know that his brothers were fine and on their journey to Bree. And so he went on and on, endless it seemed.
He crossed many rivers and marshes, climbed many hills and trees, until once his keen eyes spotted a dark wooden gate, far in the evening mist. The South Gate of Bree that was, as he later found out. There he joyfully met his brothers Eotharl and Eongor. Within a month, his sister Eoryleth and his other brothers Eongard and Eondryt arrived. He now stays at the Prancing Pony, from where he and his brothers lead attacks on the foul Men that bow before the Dark Lord and his wicked servant...
