| Outward Appearance | Bridgitte is a Bree woman in her early to mid thirties. Her face keeps some of her youth. However, the few twinkling strands of grey around her hairline give away a touch of her maturity. Bridgitte stands at an average height of 5ft5. She is a relatively slim woman, although those with the knowledge of child bearing may notice her gait and hip width implies she has bore at least one child. Her long hair is the colour of a conker and always worn piled atop her head, kept in place with many pins. Her eyes are a dull green, not bright and jewel like but a little muddy, perhaps a hint of hazel in them diluting the green. She favours plain, practical clothes and simple leather shoes, which look well worn. |

Background
Bridgitte looks and sounds like many of the other women of her age in Bree-land. She is clearly a local lass, but not from Bree Town. Her youth was spent growing up in Archet. Spending time exploring the local woodlands, getting too close to Sprigley's farm and being chased off by the farm dogs. She had an ideal childhood in a small town upbringing. In her young adulthood, she met her late husband Ned during one of his delivery runs to Archet. It was love at first sight and they were married only a month later. With pride, she took on the job of Baker's wife. Ned agreed to move to Archet so that Bridgitte could stay by her parents, and so the Archet Bakery was born.
They had what Bridgitte considered a perfect life, running the Bakery in Archet together, raising their only son, Samuel. Ned was a respected member of the community and provided a lot of charity out of the goodness of his heart, including providing free food for the Watch on many occassions. Ned was working hard to establish a Baker's Guild, wanting to spread as far as the Shire and Ered Luin if he could. He had great ambition for their little shop.
Then the trouble came. And with the trouble, came the fire.
Relocating to Bree Town after the tragic loss of her husband, son and shop, Bridgitte is looking for a new start. She can often be found walking around the fountain outside of the Prancing Pony, hauling her basket of freshly baked loaves and rolls around her waist or on her hip. She takes pride in her trade and has a creative flair when it comes to flavouring baked goods. Known to many as 'The Baker', she is quickly making a name for herself in this new town thanks to word of mouth.
