Elveaner

Having made sure the small Lossoth camp is safe from the prowling Gauradan, the travelers investigate a large but deserted tent. The fire is still blazing, there are no signs of a struggle. They look to see if anyone is nearby. 

Yonas draws off one of the Gauradan, as others appear on the ridge. 

Gauradan howls can be heard as those on the narrow path summon others. What has happened in the small camp above?

Heading onwards to Pynti Peldot, the three travelers halt when Yonas indicates he wishes to check on the nearby small Lossoth camp. It seems there has been sightings of Gauradan close by. 

It is hoped that young Lothrandir can pass the news regarding Ironspan on to others of his folk. 

The travelers pass the ravine that leads to Dwarven hold, and whatever lies beyond. They fear it may be part of a path to the East, and to Angmar that is being exploited.

The sledge had been a most welcome start to the journey, but now the three travellers were on foot. 

Departing the Great Lodge of Suri Kyla, Elveaner, Tyelcie and Yonas come across the young Ranger they had heard about. Tyelie, once on speaking terms with those watchers of the Dunedain in this area had not known his immediate predecessor, and is surprised at the lack of years the 'boy' seems to have. But Lothrandir is as helpful as his situation allows. He is given what news the elves have. 'Keep watch to the east.'.

Despite the desperate chill of the weather, a pleasant warmth can be found in Forochel. Once accepted by them, the Lossoth share food and shelter and their fire's warmth. Good company and good humour are also an appreciated source of warmth to those who have been chilled. 

The captive handed over to the chief of the elders in the Great Lodge, Yonas goes to greet friends while Elveaner and Tyelcie take a short rest.
