In a secluded chair I safely skulked, not wanting to draw attention to myself after a perilous journey. How exhausted I lay, panting, on this chair, after awakening from a sober sleep and state of unconsciousness.

How I came to lie on a bed in the Last Homely House, I know not, all I remember is a falling Bear, injuries, and then... darkness.

As always, I am surprised whenever I visit Imladris! I have come to this great seat of wisdom for more years than I recall, and still the library awaits with fresh texts and treatises to feed my curious mind.

I have spent the last few months making copies of several fine volumes to accompany me on my return to Mithlond. I obtain a certain satisfaction when fresh knowledge is placed upon the shelves of the great library there.
