Morenwenna

At an intimate moment in the cozy little party thrown to celebrate the opening of Lósengriol's kinhall, Morenwenna, friend and neighbour, directs most of the guests to form a circle and Manadhlaer to step into the center. Morenwenna offers a toast to the happy occasion.

The company -- which included a goose named Gertrude, who reportedly has something to do with a bakery -- enjoyed wine, snacks, and song by the shore of Hidhuinen.

After a deep and reverent silence for the fallen of Gondolin, the gathered Eldar lit fireworks to welcome the dawn and shared music (somehow managing not to dance themselves right off the steep drop at Imdolen), poems, and tales. Morenwenna played the lute as she often does, but unexpectedly ended the night by recounting her escape from the former Eryn Galen and displaying one of the few possessions she had been able to take with her: a beautiful charm in the shape of a leaf, smithed in Gondolin upon this very holiday many yéni ago.

Contrary to popular belief, Dolendis can dance and did dance at the Grand Elven Ball.

At the delightful Yule celebration hosted by Morenwenna and her household, the green-cloaked ladies of Bar-en-Acharn share in the fellowship and festive spirit of the hall.
