Some believe that fairies revel and dance within fairy rings under the moonlight. If one discovers a fairy ring, it is wise to leave offerings of food as a sign of respect. However, it is considered bad luck to disturb a fairy ring. Stepping into a fairy ring may result in being whisked away to the Otherworld.

Beannaithe is awakened in the night by strange yet beautiful music coming from her grandfather's garden.

Beannaithe felt as cold as the tomb in which they'd laid her pabbi. Dwarves, ye see, don't bury their dead in the ground like we Hobaid ("Hobbit Folk"). Instead they lay 'em to rest between two slabs of stone.
