We are on the road again heading south following the river to see where the supplies that were being brought up into south Eregion ate originating from. Hiril Elisbeth had taken stock of the situation as we were resting in Echad Mirobel and made it known that the man Thendrty Morson would be coming with us. I had voiced my concerns but it seems the others are in agreement with the Tur, thus I will keep my own council on the matter. I just hope it is not to our undoing.

We managed to carry out the task laid upon us and are now recovering in Echad Mirobel. The undertaking had been carried with detailed precision with a few improvisations along the way thanks to the quick thinking of the members of the banner we had with us.

Khalis returned to Imladris with the others of the banner of maethor which rode south to look into the security of the border after the recent troubles to the north at the bequest of Hiril Elisbeth after speaking with Council. After seeing to the others and rubbing down his horse he walked back to his small home and stripped of his leather hauberk placing it on the stand outside. His unsheathed the sword he always carried at his side and stared down at the blade. He had found it many years ago now at the bottom of a river bed and oddly it had never rusted.

Once the anthill has been disturbed it isn't going to just lay to rest. The gates have been closed. No, if you would have asked yesterday, they would be closed. The gates are reinforced. Not even a raging troll could break them down now. Yet the half-orcs of Mudhlas Cadhus were not dealing with a troll right now. That would have been a small problem compared to this. The camp was quiet. The soldiers were already calling it the silence before the storm. Their leaders? They called it their last chance of adverting the coming onslaught.

Lamps filled the paths of the hidden vale with dim light, leading to a small gazebo near the falls of Imladris where Faorie stood waiting.

Reeger approached silently from behind.

Slowly, Faorie turned to the Neth Megil, studying briefly. “Ah, suilad Reeger. Thank you for meeting with me.” She had sent word to Reeger earlier in the day requesting his presence.

“Of course, Lady Faorie,” he replied. He stood straight, focused yet at ease.
