Friendship has a peculiar character; it can cross boundaries of race, opinions and heritage, and there may not be a friendship that illustrates that fact more than that between Thirenel and Tinnurion, two elves who grew in friendly bond against all odds.

It was so long ago when she have met Regnwald, he was sperewigend also, just joined the first eored, while she already rode few seasons with eored of Wold. She took time to teach each of the folawigends what she knew, some disliked that woman is there to teach them, but it was best way to learn when woman with shield is victorious over man in the dust. They all learned fast, it was time when goblins were hungry cause of long winter as well their wolves. In that winter they rode to the high valleys of the Mark defending the farms and small steads.

It was a cruel night – dark and cold, empty of emotion yet corrupted, and it stabbed Nenusidh’s warm heart like a knife. The land was giving the ranger a message – a rather bitter message at that, that there cannot be mercy. The moon was neither bold nor strong enough to best the cruel skies, and the stars were too few and much covered. The land was covered in darkness, yet despite so, there was a fragment of light within the ranger.

Diary,

The last few days have been a mixture of good and bad. I arrived in Bree, which seems to be the focal town in the area. Here I believe I have the best chance of joining a company that I can aid in their defence of Eriador. I got a room in the Prancing Pony, a nice inn despite the rotten bar and constant fooling around by drunkards. I was amazed at the size of the barkeep. Never have I seen a man of such a shape or size. It seems these people have luxurious lives and an abundance of food.
