Parents

Syllea woke this particular day to Cat jumping on the bed and licking her face. She giggled and wrestled with him a bit on the bed, After sometime Syllea sat up and placed her feet on the cold tiled floor. She assumed no one was in the house besides her since no one ever seemed to be. Assuming this, she walked out of the room in her underclothes that she had slept in. As she walked to the kitchen Syllea heard some rustling in the kitchen.

After Daphne first met her grandmother, the middle-aged woman insisted she stay with the family in their home. The house was very large and fairly lavish, but also held the whispers of memories of a time it had not been nearly so empty. Now, it only held Daph's grandmother, a few servants, a friend of her grandmother's and her Aunt Berarna, who was only around ten years older than Daphne herself and remained unmarried.  

Father:

Hathelin son of Hamelin, called the "Far-sighted", was more bard than Ranger of the North. An average swordsman and sadly deficient archer, he was never known for his martial prowess amongst his people, despite inheriting his familial blade, the storied Valrion (of which he seemed to actively attempt to find as little usage as possible).

I woke myself up screaming again last night. Every night the nightmares get worse! There's the traditional nightmare where I stand there and my brother advances towards me with a knife in his hand. My parents watch us to one side, silent at first and then they burst out into encouragment to my brother, urging him to knife me or whatever. He doesn't need the encouragment...he comes striding towards me, an evil glint in his eye and I try to run but my feet just wont move! I scream to my parents but they just wont help me!
