Letter to Eskleth

What kind of Adventure is this?:

Dearest,

Bad news has reached me here in Bindrow. By the time this reaches Ost Guruth, I will be in Evendim fighting back a legion of Angmarim. It seems we'll have to wait for a while longer to embark on any sort of honeymoon. I am very sorry I had to leave on such short notice.

I do not know when or even if I will return. Just remember this, I love you.

Your Loving Wife,

Siofran Breckenridge

Letter to Dirhael

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Official Document

Dear Dirhael Breckenridge,

To quote our maternal grandfather, "What in tarnation were you thinking?" In fact, dearest brother, were you thinking at all?

Letter to Aldor

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Dearest Aldor,

I apologize for the gap between this missive and the last, but several occurrences have set my nerves on edge. Even now, a full day after these events, my hand still shakes as I write to you. In previous letters, you may recall that I made the acquaintance of a Gondorian soldier named Tothrandir. Well... I suppose I shall have to start from the beginning. Nothing else makes sense.

A Letter to Mother

Conceptual

The 28th of October, 3018

Dear Mum,

I am heading south, under circumstances I cannot fully divulge in writing. All I can tell you is that I will not be alone, Dirhael is coming with me, and that a Shadow has fallen over the South. If you pester Father, he might be able to tell you more, depending on his orders.

There is little time left for me to write as I, well we, are departing at dawn tomorrow. I do not know what awaits us in the South, but I do know that I will come home. I promise.

Your Loving Daughter,

Siofran Breckenridge

Letters to El, Pt. 7: The Long Goodbye

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

There is, over in Raddon, a small stone house that borders on the clear river that runs through the settlement. It is but a three room affair. The principal room is filled with all the things that one might call the comforts of home: tables, chairs, two fireplaces that keep the long room warm. The two smaller rooms account for a bedroom and a sort of study where the owner keeps all her treasures.

Letters to El, Pt. 6

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

Dearest El,

It has been only a day or so since I have written to you last, yet I have some news to share. As I told you before: I have waited upon your murderer. He has now returned the favor and paid a call to me. His intent, I suspected, was to end my misery. I was not wrong. He revealed at the end of his visit that he had come with the intent of making me his next victim.

<A Letter, Newly Laid Away.>

Dearest El,

It was difficult to return from my homelands to find more sad news waiting for me. I had heard, vaguely, that there was trouble in Bree. I had no idea how bad it was until I got back and was able to hear the news from my friends. When I asked after you, I was told that you were killed.

Letters From Middle-earth

Author:
Written by Cesistya, kept by her family in Lothlorien

Curious by nature, the young Elf-scholar left the safe borders of Lórien to explore Middle-earth and learn what she could. Timid also by nature, she would spare a bit of parchment, and some crumbs of lembas, to write a letter to her family, sent by the swift wing of a friendly bird. As Cesistya did not keep a journal, these Letters form the only hard-copy account of her journey.
