This list is intended as an alphabetical by surname catalogue of characters roleplayed as straight Bree-landers living in or near Combe, be they Big or Little Folk, and as an aid for the players to create pre-existing relationships between characters, out of the assumption that a character living in Combe his whole life would at the very least be acquainted with some others. This page is a living document, meaning that it will be updated and changed as time goes by, and runs on player submissions, which can be sent to Martis.
*Any person named in green is a player character

Alder, Jonnald 'Jon' (58)
"Stubborn man, an' damn lucky at dice. Play with him whenever the man's brother comes to Combe."
—Old Will Bauman, farmer of Combe
"He used to be a damned good watchman, if the stories be true. He spins a good yarn, at the least. Broke his leg after an arrest gone awry. Still keeps the badge, an' used to bring his son here for some time."
—Juniper Smith, Watcher of Combe
Alder, Martis 'Marty' (20)
"Oh, that Alder? I know Marty. Son of old Jon and Arlett. Pleasant kid, buys a cider every time he comes, and never forgets his manners. "
—Lizbeth Honeymeade, proprietor of the Comb and Wattle Inn
"Marty's my son. A bit of a dreamer, but his heart's in the right place; he works hard when he's got his mind set on something—don't tell my wife, but he'd fit in with the Watch. He's good on the dog and he stays out of trouble for the most part. I trust him."
—Jon Alder, his father
"If you ask me, he's too fond of them traveling men's stories. "
Twi—Karl Green, a friend
Badger, Hwynne (23)
The woman scoffs at mention of "the Badger girl". She'd clap her palm to her forehead and pace around. "I'd put that troublemaker in the stocks myself if I could! Tryin' to fight and raise a ruckus all the time! I'm fond of those trips she takes. Out of my hair."
—Helena Greyleaf, tavern waitress
Badger, Athyln (19)
"The laziest lady I've ever known! Well, I've known her all of me life, since she's my sister and all, but goodness, she can sleep for two days straight. She's also not spoken for, if you were wonderin'—or if you weren't."
—Hwynne Badger, her sister
Cutter, Melvinn 'Randy Melv' (~20)
Darrowfeld, Alekay 'Alex' (~27)
"The Darrowfeld boy? I see him all the time in Combe. Never quite sure what to expect from him."
"Travels to where he pleases, he does! Hard to imagine our local fisticuffs boy grew up into such a... witty and personable fellow. He used to help his sister beat up and scare off her unwanted suitors."
"Reeks of alcohol and laziness. Or used to. He said he stopped a few weeks ago. That doesn't mean I believe him though."
"Heard he ran off with some Lone-lands girl and a soldier of sorts. Gracious me, even his house is boarded up!"
—Gleaned from street rumours in Bree
Greyleaf, Edmand 'Ed' (23)
Greenwill, Geoffin Adrian (47)

Thistle, Auina (21)
Thistle, Tindam 'Tin' (26)
Twignut, Jesabelle "Jessi" (20)
"The Twignut triplets? Thrice trouble, if you ask me! That Jesabelle's apparently one of Liz's new staff—you have to wonder what Liz was thinking there..."
"Mad lote, those triplets! Especially that Jesabelle! The queer girl laughs at the most inappropriate things!"
—Gossip from Combe-folk
Woodwright, Roswel 'Ros the Boss' (32)
