An unexpected robbery

Atgar was happy with the progress he made for hiring staff and securing supplies from local farmers for his new cookshop. He took the road back to Pickdean from the South gate of Bree while thinking about his next moves to expand his business.

When he arrived in Pickdean late in the morning, he realized to his horror that his cookshop had been robbed during the night. Most of his food supplies were gone, produce stands and shelves were broken or overturned and half eaten food leftovers were all over the place.

Despite his anger and grief for this turn of events, he turned his focus on locating an important crate that was stored in his cookshop. The crate was part of an important shipment from Durin’s Folk Trading Company towards the Southern lands and was stored there temporarily. His despair was growing as the crate was nowhere to be found amongst the chaos and broken stands. 

At last, he managed to locate a piece of evidence to help him track down those responsible for this theft. A half torn green cloth, probably part of a cloak, stained with mud and blood. Another lead was an overturned cart on the outside of the cookshop. It seems the robbers were so focused on taking all the food they could, that they caused the cart to break down and strips of their clothes to rip, getting caught in between crates.

It was time for Atgar to call upon his neighbors for help, in order to track down the robbers and retrieve his food supplies, but most importantly the crate from Durin’s Folk Trading Company.
