Letter 8: Still in mountain.

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

His youngest son child to Bóurr Bíldul of Erebor greeting.

I write again from Thorin’s Hall, though I hoped that by now it would be from Bree-land. Yet our plans keep churning about, such that it seems I may never plant my feet solidly upon them. If I am yet in mountain when the decoration for the Solstice has begun I am like to actually weep, though thankfully I do not believe that will come to pass.

It is said by some that until the dead is laid under stone and Mahal issues the call to Mandos, the soul sleeps in the body, listening, waiting.

Letter to Maddoct, from the Valley

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

[Enfolded with this letter is a flower of a sort that grows not in Men's lands, shed naturally from its vine before being pressed and dried; in appearance it resembles a bundle of dainty traveler's-joy but blue in color.]

Bíld son of Bóurr to Maddoct son of Haddoct, cheerful and affectionate greeting.

Letter to Bíld: Happenings in Bree & Me

Maddoct son of Haddoct to Bourr’s son Bíld, greetings from the heart.

First unexpected correspondence from Liffey, then from you! My chest swells with joy and fondness. I hope you receive this reply happily and safely.

My innermost thoughts, XXIII. - Starry night.

I almost did not bring you, book. Nor any writing implements. I must take care not to wake the woman by my side. She keeps stirring, and I do not wish to have to explain your existence. It is an unusually quiet night in the Trollshaws but that in itself is ominous, I find I cannot rest, the memories of this place. The bank of the Hoarwell. They keep me awake.

Task Two: Wolves

Story

Dear All,

Congratulations for making it thus far.

Continue up the greenway heading North from Trestlebridge until you reach a pool with a copse of trees nearby. Be wary for orcs often patrol this area and you would not wish to run into them unnecessarily. If you do however then collect their eyeballs to prove how many you have slaughtered. Each eyeball is worth twenty five silver pieces, so fifty per orc.

Task One: An Introductory Task

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Dear All,

In order to cement your varied backgrounds and personalities into one alliance of a group, your first task will be a team building one.

Just west of Trestlebridge is a large waterfall. You can access it through various ways. Near the top of the waterfall is a small ledge that juts out, dividing the waterfall in two streams. This ledge juts out. Your task is to access this ledge and remove the container of rubies buried within the rock. This will contain the next set of instructions.
