I’ve had a week to spend on my special project, and I think it’s coming along quite nicely. I met a lovely lady named Odelina and an adorable halfling named Heemi, who have since moved into Everslade across the road from me.

Change.

It’s constant. So ever-present that after a while… you stop noticing it.

And then it hits you, like an arrow to the lungs. And you fall, and hit your head, and wake up two months later to find that nothing’s the same.

Hardly feels like any time passed since we left the Mark, but it's been a long journey, with many settings of the sun.

Pull through the first two…you’re getting it, now the sec- good!” The small fingers moved as Sareva had directed, the young girl working slowly as she practiced. “Your treble crocheting is starting to look more uniform.”
