“Now again, through the next hole…like that…now pick up a loop- No, the other way. Pull through the first two…you’re getting it, now the sec- good!” The small fingers moved as Sareva had directed, the young girl working slowly as she practiced. “Your treble crocheting is starting to look more uniform.”

Seated by the pond behind her shop and house, Sareva flipped through three pages of her book. Her hands freshly cleaned in the waters before her after planting the cutting she’d been given permission to take from Arthionn’s bush, the paper felt soft on her fingers.

I meant to write this recently but I have forgotten to. Anyways, despite of a certain person, a few days ago, I had met up with Bryn and Conrob again while I was speaking to Steven! How long had I seen them last? Well... Formally without having  something happening like what happened to Aallan the other day at the Boar Fountain. It definitely had been way too long. It was definitely a relief to see their faces again.

Where, oh, where would I begin with this journal? Hell, it's been such a long time since I have written in it at all! Things both bad and good had been happening and it had been all in some sort of blur more or less.

The town of Bree was covered in the starry blankets of night, with the moon’s crescent shining above the town.  The man who’d live upon it would refuse to come down for his fill of ale, as numerous guards marched through the streets.  These guards were not of the regular watch, but of Richard’s own men, sent from the south into the once sleepy town.  At least ten at a time would patrol each section of Bree,

It had been weeks and one dead half orc since Aallan last saw Dufr in the Lone Lands.

It has been weeks since Dufr headed back to Bree with the bloodied remains of my garb.  As I watched him depart, I had pondered what to do for myself in the meantime, should he convince Bree of my apparent death.  

It had been days since the two of them finally met once again on the summit of Weathertop. In that chill breezy evening, one could see the stars glimmer, connecting one another into various figures in the night sky.  However, the dawn would come again, the course into dreams would end, and the plan would have to be set into motion.
