Honoured Lady,

Throughout all time, the light of our people shines in the darkness. But the design of the Enemy is to keep us apart, because he could not keep light out of the world entirely; and when he could not do that, he spared no pains to sunder ties of kinship and set Men against us.

It is said in the Valley that the Enemy is preparing to strengthen his dominion by the continuation of destruction of the lives and lands of the Free Peoples everywhere, and moves forth to open War.

She hummed an old song to herself as she cleaned her tools, her mind far away from the tedious and repetitive work. Already the steel smithing hammers lay spotless and shining upon a red cloth sheet although the pile of filthy tongs on the hessian sack still lurked in the corner of her eye. She sighed softly as she looked at them, cleaning the first pair of tongs with an increasingly grubby cloth almost absent-mindedly. A sudden knock upon the door startled Ruineth from her thoughts and she let out a muttered curse as she dropped the tongs onto the wooden table.

Story

This day a Council meeting was held to hear an account of the actions of Estarfin, formerly Sergeant-at-Arms of the Order of the Hammer, so that we could hear what was done, and why it was done, and give our recommendations to Lord Anglachelm.

"Well, Sogadan,” said the Lord Ambassador. “What do you think I have inside this box?”

“Your coin to pay off your wine bill, I hope! You have let it run up again."

Going and Coming, Never Astray

Diary

This morning I went to the Forges to see Lord Vorongwë set out leading a goodly number of people southward for our Lordship, and the Hound amongst them. The Fountain Lord ordered the company to make haste and not to wander from the road, and if anyone went missing he would not give orders to look.

Mundane Duties

Parnard looked over the receipt, comparing it to the lot just delivered. Supplies for seven at least: too many elves, Lord Anglachelm said. He imagined a squeaking wagon creeping across a muddy, rutted road carrying the load of barrels and crates. How secure were the roads leading south?

Joining the Fountain

Story

Nolanaro was still on the balcony and for all appearance admiring the view of the stream and waterfall. His mind however wasn't really on the beautiful landscape but still dwelling on his meeting with the lord of the order of the Fountain, Vorongwë.

The elf was surprising in more ways than one :

-First of all he knew him, or rather knew of him. Although Nolanaro was of Vanimar and knew a lot of members from view or by reputation, he was the first to admit it was unlikely that many people knew him.

Day 11 - Broken Trust

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

I am lying on the ground somewhere in Dunland, trying to sleep next to some of the House of Vanimar, instead of my comfortable bed in Rivendell or Lórien. So how did this happen? When I first entered the house, the people I met after Lord Anglachelm were of the Order of Hammer. When the events started to go rough on them, I felt like I needed to make myself useful for them as a warrior that I am.
