It is almost time. Soon, I shall finally meet my child. I still linger within the homeland. As I write this, I am sitting beside the fount of the Lord and Lady. The water here is cool and refreshing, which I often find myself drinking.

Baingol has been looking after me, ever so attentatively. He will not allow me to fetch anything for myself and always insists I am seated. He is and will be a glorious father. Our child will be so lucky!

I am sitting in my quarters in Imladris, Tinuvinil is in a room nearby. O, how my heart danced as I saw him, just in time for the gathering in the Hall of Fire. I had so hoped he would be able to come, but could not be too sure, as I know Edhil from all kins are to report in for duty and set forth to the Greenwood. I feel that something great and fearful is on its way and it worries me to know that many of my friends are out there.

Tis all good. Mithanor, my love in the next room of our quarters at Imladris, so fair and perfect. I intend to keep her company as long as I may. I am thankful now, that I have been granted duty leave for a short time as requested. For even a day without her is almost unbearable. How much I miss her, tis a weakness like no other.

So this is what it feels like. This is the emotion I have been yet to feel for so long. This is what it's like, to have someone to love, care for and never let go. This is the very feeling I have shunned so many times, convincing myself it was worthless and without meaning. Now I see. It is amazing. A perfect, valuable dream that you are a part of for eternity. O, how perfect it is, the way she shines when I see her, how she makes me smile, constantly. How when I see her, my heart glows and its hers, it always will be.

Duties afore hearts.. Tis a notion I have always lived by.. However now; the heart glows brighter for another; than the satisfaction of my occupation. I continuously told myself the life of a family was not for me.. After my Fathers death and the Sailing of my Mother, I convinced myself that nothing would get in the way of my job. I was to be a Glandir, and nothing more.

Felt it was time to take the quill in my hand and write my thoughts down again, as it has been a while since done so. I got myself a new notebook, as the other one was filled with more sadness than good. I see this as a new beginning..
