Danwick is built quite strong and burly, thanks in large to his agrarian background, though imposing when he wishes to be, he usually carries himself with a polite, perhaps even uncommonly cultured for someone of his upbringing. Though one might use the word handsome to describe his appearance, a number of scars and the weight of his job has undeniably left their mark on him, and those who knew him would certainly say he looked better before he became a watcher. Danwick is very direct in his demeanor, he'd rather not use two words when one will do, and typically never twists or dances around his words. Yet in spite of that among friends he is always very polite and unswervingly loyal to those worthy of trust. |

Background
Danwick Hale was born and raised a Bree-Lander through and through. He was raised on a farm in the North Bree Fields by a family with close ties to the watch in Bree, with his grandfather and his father before him being constables going back as long as the Hale family genealogy goes back. His father was to be a watcher as well but had forsaken that life when the rise of bandits in Bree-Land and the migration of southerners made the job to dangerous for his taste, and so left that life behind and returned to the farm (much to the displeasure of Danwick's grandfather). As such Danwick had spent most of his life as a farm hand but for all his childhood was fascinated by his grandfather's stories of his care as a constable and longed to go to Bree and join up himself, something his father fervently denied him. This went on until Danwick was twenty two when a bandit attack destroyed his family farm and deprived them of much of their life savings, this left his father a devastated drunken wreck, and at his grandfather's urging Danwick grabbed a lumber axe and the Hale family sword and moved to Bree with naught but the clothes on his back, where he became a recruit of the Bree Watch.
| Friends | He has only recently moved from a farm outside Bree to the town of Bree proper and has not had time to get to know many people personally yet. |
