Having convealesced in Minas Tirith's healing houses after the monumental toll bringing the Umbarim great ships upriver took upon his already weakened state, Cuthanon is finally permitted to return home. The Harlond is busy and bustling and he does lend his hand to a few needed tasks before a ship finally departs down river, but he almost regrets his charity for the weariness that comes over him for the trouble.

Cuthanon and the husband he's secret-married too, Arfalassil! Pelargir and Dol Amroth buried their competition for love to blossom and all that jazz, I needed to do some warm ups for other couple paintings I'm about to get started on and this seemed a good subject :)

At the death of his father, Thaldir, Cuthanon took his seat at the Council of the Sea-Captains. Though the title is not hereditary, most agreed that Cuthanon's experience and aptitude for the position was undeniable. However, Cuthanon's strict sense of honour and duty gave him unique challenges in terms of the political aspect of the position and he made some rather cunning enemies amongst the some of the less savoury minor Lords of Lebinnin.

I finally took the time to quickly sketch out my new boy. Softness and kindness partnered with a strong sense of Command, chivalry, duty, Cuthanon's the kind of man who always acts with a thought for the best outcome. He will bring only honour to his family and his City, and gladly takes to the sea to defend her.
