Numenstaya

Fearanie has begun to feel very much at home in the steading of Numenstaya. She misses her parents in Forlond, but is making some good new friends. Foremost among them is Marawendi from the Greenwood, who she leads into more trouble that the latter would normally entertain. Although she is strict, Filignil the housekeeper and scout is also considered a much older, wiser and a touch authoritative friend. The old Nolde has earned the youngsters respect, and fascinates her with her tales of the past. Parnard is almost always entertaining in one way or another.

The second set of images I have happened some few years later. It was after Dol Guldur, after I had left Imladris to attend my injured Grandmother at the coast. It was after we had sought each other out again, and indeed, finally understood that we wanted to be together. It was at Numenstaya, the home and sanctuary we were building, with aid from some others. 

Was it actually a wrecking or merely an 'accident'. Whatever it was, I was again unintentionally the cause. Or perhaps it was 'we'?

“Mae govannen,” the newcomer said. The healer was garbed in a long stone coloured robe, not his official wear, but likely what he was wearing when the message arrived. The front of his long, brown hair was lank and wet from where the hood had not covered him. But his warm, blue-grey eyes were bright and keen. He would help.

“Mae govannen, my friend. You know all others in this room, I believe?” I reached over to take his hand for a moment. Estarfin and Belegos greeted him, inclining their heads as both stood to show respect to another old Noldo. 

"There is something wrong with Parnard," I said, trying to make light conversation over a matter I was increasingly concerned about.
